Journaling

Journaling

Am I the only one who journals? For those of you who don’t, what’s your way of releasing? While journaling isn’t my only way to release, it’s my number one go to.

I created a therapy folder for myself. It’s filled with tons of worksheets and prompts to get me thinking deeply to figure out problems and solutions. It may be referenced to grounding techniques, triggers, what makes me happy, forgiveness, core beliefs, anxiety, showing gratitude, stressors, etc. Sometimes I free write and just let out how I’ve been feeling.

Sometimes it’s uncomfortable. But, we have to get used to talking about uncomfortable situations to overcome the feeling of being uncomfortable, yes?

The most rewarding, is going back to reread what you’ve written and feeling “above” it all. That’s the best part. I encourage you all to download a journal app, purchase a nice one, or make your own. It’s worth it.
